VEX IQ Competitive
Our Courses & Programs
This is the next step in the careers of the students. Using the skills they have learned through prior experience outside or through their learning course, they will participate in the friendly competitive format of the VEX IQ Robotics Competition for Elementary or Middle School. This is a fun way to always test out new designs to complete the season's tournament objectives and ultimately win!
The Design Process
We make sure the students learn the most of their experience through the competition. We do this by making sure the entire team has a role and ideas to pitch in. The design process includes coming up with ideas, testing them, and then improving upon them. Through this process, the students will constantly be learning. There is always space to improve a design!
Participating in Tournaments
We participate in various tournaments throughout the year. We do this in order to ensure that the students get a great learning experience from them and to also maximize the chances they qualify for the States, Nationals, and World Championships. The instructors take care of bringing all the supplies to the tournaments. This allows us to be organized and have many supplies at hand if anything goes wrong.
Practicing for the Tournaments
We have three VEX IQ fields at our club location. This allows for many teams to practice at the same time without them interfering with each other. Furthermore, this allows us to hold practice matches to replicate situations at tournaments that we would participate at. This allows our students to be completely ready for any situation they may encounter at tournaments.
Having Fun!
The most important goal we have is for students to have fun and learn. The VEX IQ Robotics Tournament promotes this very well and we ensure that we promote within all of our working spaces. We also treat other teams fairly and help them whenever they need help. Happiness and learning are the most powerful teachers as our students say!
