VEX Robotics inspires students around the globe, from even kindergarten to university levels, to pursue their engineering dreams and revolutionize the world with their intuitive designs and ideas.

They are also the hosts of the famous, world-wide VEX Robotics Competitions. These competitions are split into multiple categories.

The VEX IQ Competitions
This competition introduces kids to the competition format of VEX. In this format, teams compete to score higher in matches. In a match, two teams play together to try to earn the highest score possible. This friendly format aids the kids in learning teamwork and sportsmanship.
The VEX EDR Competitions
This competition is much more complex than the VEX IQ Competition as it requires much more complex designs to not only perform efficiently with an alliance, but to also, unlike VEX IQ, compete against another alliance composed of 2 teams. Despite such high levels of competition, they are very enjoyable and inspiring.
